Heavy Police Presence At Mission Viejo Mall After Armed Robbery Attempt In Nordstroms

MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA) – The Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that an attempted armed robbery at Nordstroms in a Mission Viejo Mall occurred Saturday night.

“The person is described as a white male wearing an orange wig and all black clothing. No shots have been fired and no one is believed to be injured,” the sheriff’s department tweeted.

Officials also tweeted that there is not a hostage situation, and that Orange County SWAT is assisting with clearing the mall.

Police are asking people to avoid the area. Nobody was hurt in the incident, according to officials.
