The World Athletics international governing body has announced that it will not allow trans identifying biological males to compete against biological women.

Lord Sebastian Coe, president of the body stated that as of March 31 no athlete who has gone through male puberty will be permitted to compete in female world ranking competitions.

Coe noted that further research will be undertaken on the matter, saying “We’re not saying no forever,” adding that the decision for now has been “guided by the overarching principle which is to protect the female category.”

“The majority of those consulted stated that transgender athletes should not be competing in the female category,” Coe noted, adding “Many believe there is insufficient evidence that trans women do not retain advantage over biological women, and want more evidence that any physical advantages have been ameliorated before they are willing to consider an option for inclusion into the female category.”

Coe added that sports bodies must “try to strike a balance between inclusivity and making sure there is no unfair advantage,” labelling the issue as “thorny”.

The decision was taken after World Athletics consulted 40 member federations, athletes and coaches, UN experts, the IOC and Para Athletics. It is also reported that pro-trans groups were consulted.

The governing body also voted to reduce the testosterone threshold for athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD) to below 2.5 nanomoles per litre, down from 5, for all events in the female category.

Reacting to the announcement, Olympic swimming medalist Sharron Davies called it a victory for “fair sport.”

Davies has long campaigned for the protection of women’s rights in sports, which she says has prompted trans groups to make her life hell.

Last year, Swimming’s world governing body slapped a total ban on transgender athletes that have gone through any form of male puberty from taking part in women’s competitions.

The decision was made following controversy over transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, with doctors advising that the competitor still had an unfair advantage over biological females despite having undergone testosterone suppressing therapy.

Following the example of world swimming, Rugby’s international governing body also banned transgender athletes from competing in women’s matches.

    USA Today has picked a trans-identified male as it’s ‘woman of the year’ for a second time running, and this time it’s someone who advocates for child sex changes.

    The media outlet has chosen Leigh Finke as its ‘woman of the year’ for Minnesota. Finke was the first transgender legislator to be appointed to the Minnesota House of Representatives in November.

    USA Today says the awards are a way of highlighting “local and national heroines who make a positive impact in their communities every day.”

    Finke has made it a priority to ensure children are allowed to have access to gender altering surgery, recently sponsoring a bill to make Minnesota a “trans refuge state.”

    As we highlighted last week, the Democrat Governor and lieutenant governor of the state are on an executive mission to force state agencies to push “gender-affirming” health care.

    Governor Tim Walz has labeled efforts to halt trans surgery on children as “persecution,” vowing to “make sure that Minnesota’s place as a welcoming, loving, neighborly state where you are welcome and will be free of persecution or anything else that we’re trying to see in some other states.”

    Minnesota is also one of the states where shocking trans and gay porn books have been placed into school libraries, seemingly unbeknownst to school officials.

    Advancing “LGBTQ+ rights” is a “core part” of America’s foreign policy, National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby announced during a press conference at the White House on Tuesday.

    From CNS News:

    At the White House on Tuesday, a reporter told Kirby that Uganda’s parliament had passed an “anti-homosexual bill” and that Ugandan officials planned to attend an African summit to discuss and promote the passage of similar laws in other African states.

    He also said that Russia was potentially backing such laws as a “wedge” against the U.S. and because the Biden administration “is currently engaging with Africa on other issues, is this a concern for the U.S.?”

    Kirby replied, “President Biden has been nothing but consistent about his foundational belief in human rights, and LGBTQ+ rights are human rights.”

    “We’re never going to be shy or bashful in speaking up about those rights for individuals to live as they deem fit, as they want to live,” added Kirby.

    “And that’s something that’s a core part of our foreign policy and it will remain so,” he said.

    Kirby wasn’t exaggerating.

    Secretary of State Antony Blinken said last year that he brings up gay sex in “every conversation” with the Saudis. 

    It’s absolutely imperative that men be allowed to have butt sex with other men in Uganda, Botswana, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan and so on.

    Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has blasted western countries for promoting LGBT issues in Africa, accusing them of “wasting the time of humanity.”

    The president of the East African country made the remarks during a parliamentary address before lawmakers prepared to vote on a bill related to the same matter.

    The bill would impose harsher penalties for those found to be promoting LGBT activist causes in a country where homosexuality is already illegal.

    Uganda has been threatened with sanctions if it continues to refuse to implement western-style protections for LGBT, but Museveni has rejected attempts to influence his country, framing it as a form of cultural hegemony.

    “Europeans and other groups marry cousins and near relatives. Here, marrying in one’s clan is taboo. Should we impose sanctions on them for marrying relatives? This is not our job,” he stated.

    “Western countries should stop wasting the time of humanity by trying to impose their practices on other people,” he added.

    Under President Barack Obama, the US cut off aid to Uganda in 2014 and cancelled a military exercise there in response to a law that attempted to impose a term of lifetime imprisonment for “aggravated homosexuality,” which includes sex with a minor or while HIV-positive.

    The aid cut meant that a $2.4 million Ugandan community policing program project had to be abandoned following a police raid on a US-funded health program at Makerere University.

    During the same parliamentary speech, Museveni called gay people “deviants” and said that homosexuality was not normal.

    “Why? Is it by nature or nurture. We need to answer these questions. We need a medical opinion on that. We shall discuss it thoroughly,” he added.

    Despite homosexuality being technically illegal in Uganda, there hasn’t been a conviction for consensual same-sex relations since the country gained independence from Britain in 1962.

    Twitter owner Elon Musk called out the Democrat lieutenant governor of Minnesota for making comments about transgender surgery on kids being “life-saving health care.”

    Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan donned a “Protect Trans Kids” t-shirt with a dagger on it at an event following the signing of an executive order that will force state agencies to push “gender-affirming” health care.

    Flanagan stated “Let’s be clear: this is life-affirming and life-saving health care,” adding “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”

    Musk responded, tweeting “Not when they’re fed propaganda by adults.”

    “Moreover, every child goes through an identity crisis before their personality/identity crystallizes. Therefore, we shouldn’t allow severe, irreversible surgery or sterilizing drugs that they may regret until at least age 18,” Musk, who has a child identifying as trans, added:

    The Democrat Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz last week labeled efforts to halt trans surgery on children as “persecution,” vowing to “make sure that Minnesota’s place as a welcoming, loving, neighborly state where you are welcome and will be free of persecution or anything else that we’re trying to see in some other states.”

    Walz pointed to neighbouring South Dakota, where Gov. Kristi Noem has signed a bill banning the prescription of puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and sex-change surgeries for children.

    “I don’t know what a group of people in Pierre who decide to make life miserable and more dangerous for people are thinking, but it’s not going to happen in Minnesota,” Walz declared.
